Plain-language data handling
Do not send sensitive, regulated, health, biometric, confidential, proprietary, credential, or secret data through public contact channels unless a reviewed process explicitly allows it.
Current disclosures
| Direct contact | The theme displays direct email, phone, and MikeKappel.com links. It does not process or store public contact form submissions by default. |

| Analytics | No external analytics are bundled. Add analytics only with consent handling and an updated policy. |
| Cookies | Theme-level cookies are not set for tracking. WordPress, hosting, or plugins may set their own cookies. |
| Server logs | Hosting providers commonly log IP address, user agent, request path, and timestamp. Confirm retention with the host. |
| Retention and deletion | Set a real retention process before launch. Deletion requests should be routed through the public privacy contact. |
